Our Story
BPDI is veteran owned business. We are a full service pile driving, marine construction and support of excavation company. The management team has over 100 years combined experience in the industry, and has completed thousands of jobs ranging from a one day exploratory drilling projects, up to full service design and install of multi-million dollar foundations. We are considered experts in drilled pier foundations and design and implementation of support of excavation throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
BPDI has a wide variety of machinery (rubber-tired, crane-mounted, track-mounted, and low-clearance machines) with a full complement of casings, rock and earth augers, core barrels, mud buckets, and tools to handle any number of caissons, their sizes, and depths.
BPDI operates with quality in mind and a focus on safety. BPDI features a very comprehensive safety program with many of its employees holding industry certifications which include OSHA-30, confined space, and crane operator certificates. BPDI is fully bondable and has been prequalified for many state highway jobs, including MD SHA, V DOT, PENN DOT, DEL DOT and has always met its project commitments.
Additionally, BPDI also has its own fleet of tractors for heavy duty hauling, welding staff to build and maintain tooling, and a fleet of tri-axle dump trucks to service contract needs.
