Our Story

Since incorporation in 1997, CorrTech Inc., has specialized in the study, evaluation, and mitigation of corrosion processes related to operating infrastructure.  Each infrastructure corrosion problem encountered is evaluated and resolved through a combination of standard technical methods and innovative ideas, which lead to the most cost-effective solution for corrosion control and service life extension.  The goal of CorrTech evaluations is to define the current condition of the infrastructure, define the future condition of the infrastructure and then develop rehabilitation methods that are appropriate for the structure under study.

CorrTech utilizes destructive or non-destructive testing procedures to analyze structures under study.  These can be applied to evaluations of steel, ductile iron, reinforced concrete structures and other materials used in the water/wastewater, marine, petrochemical and power industries.

CorrTech conducts corrosion and failure investigations, inclusive of field observations, metallurgical analyses, and other laboratory assessments as required to determine the problem.  Corrosion failure analyses require consideration of all the possible causes of the corrosion activity, including stray current corrosion, material interactions with the process, internal environmental corrosion from bacterial or chemical treatment processes, improperly supplied materials, affects of both field and factory welding and other considerations that may be of concern.

CorrTech has brought on the expertise of the company formerly known as Extech, LLC, this gives us the opportunity to broaden our services and provide more to our clients in ROV tank inspection and cleaning, thickness testing and coating inspection services.

Our professional integrity and mission to "Do It Right" is the foundation of our success.

Respectfully,

Scott Paul, P.E.
