Our Story

Optimum Management, Inc. is focused on providing Open Protocol Control Systems for Integrating Direct Digital Controls for Boilers, Chillers, HVAC, Lighting, Security, Fire and Life Safety Systems. Optimum Management, Inc. is an Echelon Open Alliance Approved Network Integrator and a LonMark Associate. We promote interoperable control systems from several manufacturers that are the best for the customers' application.

Optimum Management, Inc. was established as a corporation in September 1985. The company was started by Thomas C. Kazanjian. At that time, Mr. Kazanjian had worked in the manufacturing and distribution industry as an Engineering Manager for over 16 years. Always up-to-date with the latest technical information, he had implemented automation in distribution, facilities management, and maintenance management departments in multimillion dollar corporations. Mr. Kazanjian graduated from Syracuse University with Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree.

Optimum Management, Inc. is a Value Added Business Partner of TAC by Schneider Electric, the world's leading specialist in power and control. Schneider Electric combines the strengths of TAC, Andover Controls and Invensys (Barber-Colman).  TAC, industry leaders with over 200 years of combined experience. Previous to this, TAC merged with CSI Control Systems International to create a major world wide controls company with the most advanced, high performance building automation and energy solutions available anywhere in the world. TAC specializes in integrated building automation by incorporating open technologies such as Echelon's® LON® -based open protocol, OPC server technology and Open Database Connectivity (ODBC).

Optimum Management, Inc. has grown with and been a Value Added Business Partner with Schneider Electric, TAC, and CSI Control Systems International since 1986. Entering our 36th year, Optimum Management, Inc. is one of select few Partners that have met the stringent partner requirements since the early days of CSI. The "Value Added" function that we provide includes system design, engineering, data base development, documentation, installation, and support. Optimum Management, Inc. is an expert in all the details of building automation, energy management, advanced Direct Digital Controls programming and Control Systems Integration. We are responsible for engineering, programming, installation management and final commissioning of Optimum Management projects. Staying current with the technologically advanced Schneider Electric, TAC, and I/NET product lines, Optimum Management proposes system designs and programs the most complex project features. Optimum Management balances the software with the correct hardware to optimize the technical performance of the system. Before any work is done in the field, all DDC logic is tested and verified in the office.

Utilizing backward compatibility for installed systems interweaved with new applications and solutions, Optimum Management can ensure our customers continuous satisfaction and maximize their investment. Optimum Management, always, offers the client the latest proven advances available in the market. We installed CSI products ranging from the Systems 6000 and 7000 Controllers in the 1980s to today's I/NET Seven and TAC Xenta Controllers. Our first system installations are still in operation. All have been updated along the years with newer software revisions. All older systems have the ability to be upgraded and to be viewed on the TAC Vista software or generic software along with added LON Controllers.

Optimum Management wants the customers to enjoy the added benefits and increasing user-friendliness of the ever enhanced software and hardware improvements. To have clients expand their systems to new building additions, integrate temperature controls with access controls, lighting controls, process controls, etc., and install systems in other corporate locations, have been the best proofs of customer satisfaction to Optimum Management.
