In 1946, Floyd and Mary West started West Brothers Transfer. The company began as a small package delivery firm that servicing Raleigh, NC. In 1954, Floyd and Mary started moving furniture locally and within the state of North Carolina. Shortly thereafter, they added distribution services for Kellogg’s and Elbow Macaroni. More growth occurred with the addition of contract delivery agreements with Avon Products, Stanley Home Products, Roadway Express and IBM.
We provide storage trailers and storage containers to central and eastern North Carolina from our locations in Raleigh, Durham and Charlotte. We offer long or short term rentals of trailers and temporary storage containers, as well as shipping containers and long term storage containers. We deliver, pick up and re-site all of our legally registered, federally inspected, wind and weather tight trailers and containers.

??In 1974, Floyd and Mary’s sons, Craig and Tommy West, purchased the company. Shortly thereafter, exponential growth started when Craig and Tommy added a trailer rental company and enlarged the warehousing and trucking divisions in 1979. In 1987, we opened a Charlotte, NC, location. Then, in 1994, we expanded again, purchasing the moving division and assets of two moving companies located in Raleigh, NC; whereupon we formed and opened All American-West Brothers Moving & Storage, Inc., and became an agent for Mayflower Van Lines. 

In 1997, we started Logistic Leasing LLC as a full service truck leasing and contract maintenance company. In 2008, we expanded the trailer rental business to include the rental of 20’ and 40’ storage containers serving the Triangle Area of NC. In October 2010, as West Brothers Transfer & Storage, H&S Division, Inc. we changed our focus and became a 100% storage trailer and storage container rental business. We now have approximately 1,200 storage trailers and 200 storage containers to meet all of your on-site storage needs.

Craig and Tommy West still own and operate West Brothers Transfer and Storage, H&S Division, Inc. We are very proud of our professional staff and remain dedicated to being known as a highly reputable, high performing company that prides itself on serving our customers' needs.

We rent, deliver, re-site, and pick up our empty, legally registered, DOT inspected, wind and weather tight storage trailers and storage containers to your site, for either short or long term use, depending on your needs. We pride ourselves on next day delivery; and can often times add you into our daily schedule for a delivery, re-site or pick-up, whatever is needed, on the same business day you contact us.
