Our Story

WHY WE'RE DIFFERENT

Our goal is to bring you the best 24/7 customer service in barricade rentals. We’ll help you through every detail of your project, from start to finish.

RENTAL & SALES

We provide both standard and custom-made equipment to fit any project’s needs.

TRAFFIC CONTROL DESIGN & PLANNING

Every project requires specific traffic control planning. We’ll consult with you to develop a plan that keeps everyone safe while adhering to all regulations and requirements set by the Texas MUTCD.

HOW WE STARTED

Steve Buyers was a construction superintendent servicing a project at DFW Airport, when he hired a barricade company to handle traffic control. After days of poor customer service, Steve decided to take matters into his own hands. Within 24 hours, Steve started Buyers Barricades with nothing more than his ’65 Chevy pickup, a 16-foot trailer and the vow to run his business by the golden rule.

While we’re proud of our steady growth over the years, we’re even more proud of our unwavering dedication to our customers. Steve’s commitment to run a service-focused barricade company lives on as Shelba Buyers takes the helm. Buyers Barricades is sharply focused on the importance of family, integrity, quality, customer dedication and working hard to foster healthy, long-lasting relationships.

WHO WE ARE IN THE COMMUNITY

Ronald McDonald House

Giving back to the community is an important part of what we do. One of the ways we give back is by supporting our local Ronald McDonald House. When a child has to go to a far-off hospital for long-term treatment, the Ronald McDonald House provides free housing for the parents so they can stay together as a family and focus on caring for their child. At Buyers Barricades, we help out every way we can: cooking meals for families at the house, delivering donated supplies, and sponsoring fundraisers for the charity. If you would like to join us in supporting the Ronald McDonald House, you can give online or drop off new toys and non-perishable food items at our offices.
