Our Story

Mariano Brothers was founded in 1948 by three brothers who realized their success would depend on dedication to professional expertise and providing unmatched customer service.Today, the third generation of Mariano Brothers remains committed to their traditional ideals, while incorporating the demands of an ever-changing business world. 

Mariano Brothers has the experience, personnel and equipment to move machinery and equipment of any size, safely and quickly. Each of our seasoned foremen have over 20 years experience.  Precision and coordination are critical, whether you are moving a single piece or an entire plant. We can handle all aspects of your project including but not limited to crane service and heavy hauling.

Mariano Brothers has thirty years of experience moving and installing all types of sculptures and monuments. Galleries, museums, artists, and conservators all appreciate our ability to respond promptly with professional service and attention to detail. We maintain our own carpentry shop for custom crating and packaging for local, long distance and overseas moves.  Our custom crates are re-usable.

From a deinstallation in a museum or gallery space to the creation of a concrete pad and mounting of an outdoor work in a manicured and landscaped yard you can rely on Mariano Brothers.

Mariano Brothers has the specialized rigging equipment and experience needed to handle projects of any size or medium. Our fleet of air ride trailers, cranes and straight trucks transports your piece to and from its destination safely.

Our employees have been handling art work for at least 8 years. They are apprenticed by our senior employees on the processes of safe wrapping and packing and the rigging of art work of all shapes and sizes.  All of our foremen have over 20 years experience in the field.

Our specialty is the rigging and moving over dimensional pieces. We have over thirty years of experience in this field. Hours of calculation and planning go into every large scale sculpture move, from safety to travel restrictions. While not every challenge presents itself until the move is underway, we have gained a reputation in our field as "problem solvers". Mariano Brothers owns and operate hydraulic cranes from 8 ton to 40 ton and 182 feet of boom length. We have an extensive resource network throughout the Northeast that can provide cranes from 15 ton to 500 ton capacities.Mariano Brothers is a single source provider to handle high, heavy and complex projects. We offer innovative solutions to handle from the simple to the most complex projects. Combine experienced professional operators with expert riggers and you can be sure of a safe working environment for all types of modular hoisting.Our mobile hydraulic crane service is available for a wide range of applications including HVAC, electrical equipment, trusses, steel, construction and all types of modular hoistings. 

Mariano Brothers maintains over 50,000 square feet of warehouse space. This facility contains storage for national and international accounts.

The warehouse is equipped with multiple loading docks and overhead cranes to 35,000 pounds capacity. Our fleet of modern forklifts assist our full-time warehouse staff in quickly and safely loading and unloading all small or large equipment and over dimensional pieces.Storage terms are available as needed to meet your business long and short term storage needs. Items maybe stored in the warehouse or secured yards.Our state of the art security system offers twenty-four hour surveillance and a completely fenced in perimeter to ensure the safety of your valuable equipment or artwork.Our corporate offices are adjacent to the warehouse and yards enhancing the security.Private rooms are available for smaller sculpture work, paintings and collections. We also have display space to view and photograph works.
