Jason Melvin serves as Chief Operating Officer for DAVACO’s North American operations group. Jason has been a member of DAVACO’s team since 2011, serving in varying roles from General Counsel, Director of Operations, and Vice President of Human Resources. In his current role, Jason oversees the development of vertical integration strategies, business processes for day-to-day operations, as well as legal, compliance, and risk management functions. Jason also serves as the qualifying agent for DAVACO’s general contractor licenses. His background is diverse and includes nearly ten years spent in sales and marketing. Jason is a licensed commercial airplane pilot, published author, and holds a Juris Doctor, with Cum Laude distinction, from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law and Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Arkansas State University.

Jordan Handel serves as President of DAVACO, where he is responsible for the oversight of daily operations, including client development & growth strategies. Prior to this role, Jordan served as Executive Vice President of Business Development where he managed the organization’s client development team and overall growth strategy. Jordan has a passion for the customer experience, delivering results, and leading winning cultures. Before joining DAVACO in 2017, Jordan served in a variety of commercial leadership roles spanning multiple international territories — most recently with our sister organization, Crane Worldwide Logistics. Jordan holds a Bachelor of Science in History & Political Science from Texas Tech University.

Lamar Roberts joined DAVACO in 1998 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all financial aspects of the company’s operations, as well as overseeing its accounting and legal departments. Lamar has over 30 years of accounting and finance experience, and previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Amber’s Stores, a retail craft chain. Lamar also worked in public accounting for nine years, including a stint with the Entrepreneurial Services Group of Ernst & Young. In that capacity, his clients included major retailers such as CompUSA, Michaels, and Amber’s. Lamar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Paul Hamer, Chief Development Officer, continues to evolve his 30 year tenure with DAVACO developing new lines of business, opening new industries and working with strategic accounts to improve their business. He worked his way up through the field, operations, estimating, sales, e-commerce, digital services and executive management. Paul grew up in in a restaurant family, worked as a General Contractor and an Assistant Professor of Printmaking at The Rhode Island School of Design. Paul is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, he also holds a Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from The Rhode Island School of Design.

Chief Information Officer Roberto Arrocha leads DAVACO’s overall IT strategy and oversees the development, implementation, and support of ClearThread, the company’s proprietary business intelligence platform. Before joining DAVACO in 2010, Roberto served as Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture at American Airlines and Director of Software Engineering for Masergy Communications. In 2019, Roberto received the Dallas CIO of the Year ORBIE Award, which recognizes and honors excellence in technology leadership. Roberto holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Don Williams has served as DAVACO’s Senior Vice President of Operations since 2017, overseeing all day-to-day business operations. He also manages DAVACO’s operational departments, including Retail, Restaurant, Product Merchandising, Technologies, Survey, Cost Management, as well as the company’s Canada office. Since being hired as a Project Manager in 2006, Don has held several other positions at DAVACO, including Director and Vice President of Retail Operations. Don’s professional experience also includes 20 years of service with JCPenney, where he held several management positions at the store and district levels. Don holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia.

Lani Hopkins is DAVACO's Vice President of Strategic Resources. In this role, Lani is responsible for overseeing the company's field resource allocations and logistics, as well as all aspects of corporate travel. Before joining DAVACO in 2005, Lani held positions with Wyndham Jade Travel, Rosenbluth International, and King's Travel, Inc. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) of DFW. In 2014, she received that organization's Carole Devine Scholarship to further her continuing education in the travel industry. Lani attended the University of Hawaii and is a certified travel counselor, accounting specialist, and global travel professional.

Tequila Grace is the Director of Human Resources and Payroll. Utilizing her 20 years of experience, she provides strategic guidance and direction for all aspects of the human resource functions for DAVACO, as well as all the administration of payroll processing and benefit solutions. She holds a PHR certification from the Society of Human Resources Management and a CPP from the American Payroll Association. Tequila currently sits on the board for a charity founded in 2013 that promotes the advancement, community involvement and college preparation for young girls. She obtained a Bachelors in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University.
