Scope Of Work
The renovations and additions to Hardberger Park include over one acre of extensive landscaping improvements and the construction of the 11,450 SF Urban Ecology Center.
The Ecology Center is a model green building that is constructed with recycled and renewable materials and rainwater collection and irrigation systems. Multiple classrooms with interactive exhibits, offices, restrooms and water fountains provide the public with educational offerings such as programs for school and youth groups, adult lectures, workshops and weekend family programs.
The beautiful outdoor porches, entry trellis, and vegetated courtyards that are sculpted around the Center allow for further education with hands-on discovery and the hope of fostering ecologically responsible citizens.
