Scope Of Work
Argus was retained by TXDOT and the City of Hearne, TX to design a new Unattended Self Service Avgas storage and dispensing system. A 12,000 gallon Avgas tank was designed to couple with a separate dispensing skid. Per the local fire code, the dispenser required separation from the storage tank. A security fence was provided around the tank to prevent unauthorized access to the tank. The system features a credit card reader with large format display, electric rewind hose reel, filter, floating suction, stainless steel piping, and containment. The system design was based upon the TXDOT standards developed by Argus and site adapted to the facility at Hearne.
