Under a Indefinite Delivery Contract, Allen & Shariff served as the Commissioning Authority during the LEED Fundamental Building Systems Commissioning process for a new 230,000 SF, 3-story school building for 900 students. The project is configured to provide a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning environment with classrooms, lab rooms, and conference areas surrounding a common collaborative learning space. Also includes administrative spaces, media center cafeteria/kitchen, gymnasiums, natatorium, auditorium, health suite, staff lounge, teacher workrooms, art room, music room, various other spaces.
The project was designed to achieve a LEED Gold certification under the LEED for Schools, Version 2007 rating system.
