Scope Of Work
The scope of work for this existing facility rehabilitation consisted of:
Construction of a new 64,000 square foot, three story elementary school, with gymnasium, cafeteria, art room, and music room.
The scope of work included various site improvements including: a 2,400 square foot poured in place rubber surface play area with play structures, 450 square foot rain garden, concrete segmental retaining wall, a colored concrete entrance plaza, site utilities, and two underground water detention facilities.
The new building's structure consisted of cast-in place concrete foundation, structural steel framing and metal floor decking, brick veneer, aluminum composite metal panels, PVC membrane roofing, and aluminum windows. Finishes included architectural wood wall panels, ceramic tile, quarry tile, wood athletic flooring, resilient flooring, carpet, and acoustical ceiling tile.
Equipment included food service equipment and gymnasium equipment.
