Our Story

56 YEARS IN BUSINESS!

License No.  254219

Rebar Engineering, Inc. is a privately owned, full service (95+% of our contract scope is self performed), 2nd generation, rebar fabricator and placer; a fixture in the Southern California market for 56 years!    We are a close-knit group with many years of local industry experience, distinguished by a common goal of unparalleled service and top-notch quality. We pride ourselves on attention-to-detail and results, having the pulse of this So Cal market at our core.    We intend on earning and retaining your business by establishing a cooperative relationship and contributing to a mutually successful outcome.

Our services are centrally located on the borders of LA & Orange Counties @ 10706 Painter Ave., Santa Fe Springs.  We are a one-stop-shop for all of your reinforced concrete & shotcrete, assembled cages, wire mesh, structural mesh, post-tensioning, welding, mechanical coupling, spiral, threading, epoxy coating, rebar accessory and masonry reinforcement needs.

We offer Estimating, Detailing, Fabrication, Delivery, and Installation Services.  Only the most highly skilled and safety conscious workers are on our payroll.  All Field Ironworkers are put through rigorous Union training/Apprenticeship programs and are subject to IMPACT drug free workplace.

We specialize in "in-place" work, but do have a department specializing in retail/FOB orders.  We have a diversified portfolio of work:  C.I.P. Structures, Mixed Use Subterranean, Tilt-Ups, Structural Frame, Seismic Retrofits/Adaptive Reuse, Shoring/Slope Stabilization, Parking Structures, Schools, Hospitals, Office Buildings, Retaining Walls, Hillside Homes.  No project is too large or small.  We excel at  work with all of the following labor designations:  Union, Prevailing Wage, or Non-Union/Open Shop.

Chang Steel is an appendage to our overall operation:  strictly a placing division, that we utilize to target an increased volume of Private work.

We are certified members of:

  • DVBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprise)-by subcontracting out some of our work
