Louis V. Escalante Jr. is a Tucson native and graduated from Pueblo High School in 1971. He began working in construction when he was 18, concrete specifically at 21, and comes from a strong construction family background. After serving for many years as Vice President of a large Tucson concrete construction firm, Louis left the company to fulfill his own vision of what a concrete contractor could be. On his birthday, March 4, 1986 - he and his wife, Lori Escalante, started Escalante Concrete Construction, Inc. with one truck, five employees, and an office in their home. Louis maintains an active field presence in his role as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
