George Hildebrand began working concrete back in 1958. He soon became a journeyman finisher working on many projects. All through the 60’s George developed a strong reputation in the building trades for his work ethic and the quality of craftsmanship.

In 1970 George set out on his own and Hildebrand Concrete Construction (HCC) was born. Concentrating on both commercial and residential concrete HCC was immediately off and running, projects ranging from garage slabs to multi-story buildings kept the new company very busy.

During the late 70’s George observed the market changing. While others were struggling, George saw a new opportunity in “CONCRETE PAVING” and soon HCC became a major force in highway construction throughout the west in the 1980’s. The company purchased its first curb machine in 1983 and began narrowing its focus to specialize in curb & gutter and site concrete, both private and public.

Never losing sight of his love for concrete, George has always been on the leading edge of the industry. HCC added PERVIOUS CONCRETE in 2000 and is now the Northwest leader in this earth friendly product.

Now with Three curb machines and over 30 employees Hildebrand Concrete offers more than ever. Partnering with the best general contractors in the Northwest we continue to strive for our goals of meeting schedules and providing a superior product.

After nearly 50 years, George still offers strong work ethic and quality craftsmanship.
