Abdelgadir Adam, a Quality Assurance Manager at ETI, began his career at the firm as a Senior Structural Inspector in May 1999. Working closely with structural engineers, architects, and job site management personnel, he is currently responsible for quality control/assurance procedures for all activities performed by the company’s inspection personnel to ensure compliance with applicable standards. During construction, Adam is in charge of numerous activities, including: project management support; bid preparation and assistance while managing daily operations; coordination of field inspections & laboratory testing; performance of plant inspections; review of inspection and tests reports; and proposal writing.
Prior to ETI, Adam was a Senior Construction Inspector at ECS in Chantilly, VA where he was responsible for construction monitoring, material inspection and testing on major development projects, as well as coordinating office and field functions. He also held the position of Engineering Technician at Froehling & Robertson Inc. in Sterling, VA and has nine years of prior project manager experience in Saudi Arabia and Sudan. Adam holds a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Khartoum in Sudan in addition to professional certifications as a Structural Inspector and Fireproofing Tech through the Washington Area Council of Engineering Laboratories (WACEL). He is also skilled in the use of Primavera's Expedition Software for planning and controlling projects.
