From interiors and exteriors to one day touch-ups and three-year projects, our team will take care of any job. Our goal on every project is to make sure that you are completely satisfied, so that you will consider us for more projects in the future. 

We specialize in the preparation and painting of swimming pools, sandblasting of concrete surfaces including sidewalks, interior and exterior walls, planter boxes and knee walls. We work around production schedules, and are available nights and weekends.

OUR HISTORY

Pecover Decorating Services, Inc. was founded by William Pecover in 1949. In 1950, Pecover became a union shop specializing in residential painting and decorating. Later in 1971, the company was incorporated and the direction of work changed to commercial projects. 

In 2011, William Nielsen, a long-time employee and part-owner, took full-ownership of Pecover Decorating Services, Inc.. Nielsen has over 30 years of personal experience in the painting industry. 

Now with over 60 years in business, Pecover Decorating Services, Inc. has comprised an impressive portfolio of clients including: Caterpillar, Nestle, Nabisco, Pepperidge Farm, Navistar and Rush Copley Medical Center. Much of the business comes from the commercial side, where many of the projects consist of, but are not limited to: swimming pool coatings, sandblasting (with various media), high pressure water blasting, electrostatic painting and wall covering applications.

As an active member of NiPDi (Northern Illinois Painting and Drywall Institute) and current president of FCAI (Finishing Contractors Association of Illinois) Bill Nielsen feels it is imperative to participate in industry associations to be conscience of the important trends and direction the industry is headed.

Pecover Decorating Services, Inc. is also a member of: PDCA, AFL-CIO and IUPAT.
