Our Story
LVS’s pre-construction surface documentation helps construction and insurance companies reduce the risk of insurance claims and litigation. Our videographers capture high-definition digital video of existing conditions of structures near construction sites and provide all parties with chaptered DVDs or MP4 files on a USB thumb drive, as well as written documentation. This visual and written evidence provides comfort for local home and business owners as well as security for construction and insurance companies. LVS can also provide still photography of site conditions for both pre/post-construction and ongoing site documentation purposes.
At the completion of commercial construction projects, LVS produces Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing (MEP) training videos. Our professional videographers record your building experts as they conduct a video-documented training of the building systems. Footage is then encoded into a chaptered training DVD or MP4 files. By videotaping the experts who first install the systems, building managers have an effective reference tool to go back to whenever an issue may arise.
LVS is Chicago’s only source for full service legal video documentation, editing, production, and trial presentation, from discovery through closing arguments. Our services include video depositions, picture-in-picture video depositions, day-in-the-life documentaries, exhibit documentation (from machine operations to medical imaging), post-production including DVD authoring and syncing so that the official transcript scrolls with the video for the benefit of the jury, and trial support so your presentation runs smoothly.
The goal of any attorney is to represent their client’s best interests and win their case. In order to do this, a trial attorney must present a persuasive and compelling argument. When a jury lacks understanding of complex materials, they are less likely to follow the key points. When considering that most people are visual learners, the ability to present complex arguments in a clear and concise manner is invaluable in a trial or arbitration setting. That’s why mixed-media can be the key to winning a case.
