Scope Of Work
Knudsen Construction, Inc. served as the general contractor for the 2,860 sq. ft. buildout at 175 West Jackson Blvd., Chicago Illinois, which now houses Richard Bennett Custom Tailors. With KCI’s administration, new HVAC systems were provided, and in addition to overseeing this job, KCI provided their own Carpentry and Millwork services which included installation of framing and drywall at this location. This job highlights KCI’s value engineering capabilities, where we achieved cost efficiency while maintaining high quality. KCI’s Millwork team worked extensively with the owner to utilize existing casework and display areas which we then retrofitted and modified to fit into the design space that you see today. As a result of KCI’s management and self-performed work, Richard Bennett Custom Tailors is a beautiful example of KCI’s ingenuity and flexibility which is necessary to adapt and meet a client’s wishes.
