Our Story

TelData Systems was founded in 1983. Dennis was the lead wireman for the rewire of all municipalities for the City of Seattle and decided to go out and start his own business. With $1,000 that he borrowed, a pickup truck and his entrepreneurial spirit, he started TelData Systems, as a Design and Structured Cabling company. Over the years, TDS has installed some of the first fiber on the I-5, I-90 and 405 corridors. Being forward thinking in the 90s, we invested in the understanding of the IP telephony phone systems, knowing that IP was the future of communications.

In 2001, TelData started its Security Division. Our strong understanding of the IP world makes us well suited for today’s security needs. In 2004, TelData provided and installed Cat5E for our customers’ CCTV systems. Our goal is always been, “Solutions Today, Technology for Tomorrow”. This goal helps us future proof our customers.

Today we still support a lot of our original customers, many of them being large companies in the Pacific Northwest and in the Western US. We like to say we are one of the best-kept secrets in the Pacific Northwest for your Wiring and Security needs. With our dedication to honesty and integrity, we always having our customers’ best interest at heart.
