D.F. Chase, Inc. was founded on December 16, 1986 by Dean F. Chase. Dean attended Vanderbilt University and began his career in construction in 1970. Managing high profile projects in Nashville such as the Basic Sciences Building at Meharry Medical College and Opryland Hotel, Dean earned a reputation as an expert in quality construction. His work at Opryland Hotel gave D.F. Chase, Inc. its roots in the hospitality industry with subsequent projects for Marriott International, Ramada Inn, and other hotel flags.
