NR Wood Design

The Brooklyn, NY-based NR Wood Design is a full-service architectural millwork and custom cabinetry firm. Started in 2004 as a small woodworking shop by Franklin Nunez, an architecture student at the time, and Walker Ron, a master cabinetmaker (and Franklin’s uncle!), our company has grown into one of the most respected local businesses in the industry, known for our uncompromising standard of excellence, attention to detail and personalized customer service with all manner of interior renovations, both residential and commercial.

Our work is custom built to the owner’s or architect’s specifications, and we offer installation for everything we produce. All of our millwork is created onsite in our 6,000-square-foot space, which is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, and also houses our office. And while we’ve come a long way from our original little storefront shop, we have never forgotten our humble artisanal roots and continue to bring Old World dedication and craftsmanship to everything we fabricate.
