Scope Of Work

Detailed Special Cleaning Project, although the GRCC M-Tech Center is only 15 years old with 12 Service Bays and the doors being open constantly all the outside elements had blown inside and on everything. GRCC was awarded the opportunity to provide Training for a Nation and International company, so needed to get a complete detailed top to bottom cleaning. With our background in Disaster Restoration we have the expertise and experience to do the work, and were awarded the contract. Of the 90,000 sq. ft. facility the automotive training center takes up 40,000 sq. ft. of the building.

The scope was huge and the expectations where very high. We worked closely daily with the teachers, staff, and students to coordinate the movement of all their equipment and ours. Using equipment from lifts and ladders to high speed floor machines and other environmental commercial vacuums and extraction equipment we worked around their class schedules and training to facilitate the project’s completion. The work included cleaning of the ceiling, rafters, ducts, vents, piping, fans, electrical in the upper portion, to the walls and all the attached equipment to them as well as all the vehicle lifts, floor grates, and overhead doors. The classrooms, labs and storage room’s floors are vinyl (VCT) and needed to be stripped and refinished. A lot of windows and glass to clean, as well as lockers to be cleaned. The concrete floors all where machine scrubbed.

The before and after results where Amazing, and the whole GRCC Team was so Great to work with! With a national holiday falling in the middle of the job and daily time restrictions working around classes and training, the feedback on the work we completed daily was very rewarding to hear. From start to finish all work was digitally documented and a daily work performed report was completed. All the people we worked with at GRCC where very pleased with the project flow and the work completed.
