Lance has been in the construction industry over 20 years with a focus on project accounting. He has demonstrated strength in working as a strategic business partner with executive leadership teams while delivering overall financial goals.
I enjoy the unique challenges that construction accounting presents. I look forward to having the opportunity to help the Bauer Design Build team grow and develop.

Mike Bauer's Bio
Founder and President of Bauer Design Build, Mike Bauer has more than 35 years of professional experience in the construction industry. His true working knowledge of construction management has been honed through years of experience that include work as a carpenter, field engineer and project manager. Additionally, as a former Vice President of one of the United States’ leading design build contractors, Mike is able to draw on a wealth of diverse experience that is both hands-on and managerial in nature.

Branton Smith's Bio
Branton has more than 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He has a diverse collection of design-build projects in both the Twin Cities and Iowa markets. Branton’s skills are in technology software, planning, estimating and managing all phases of his construction projects.

Jason Barrett's Bio
Jason grew up around commercial construction. He started his construction career in the field; working from laborer to carpenter to assistant superintendent. All while attending college and graduate school. In 2007, Jason became a project manager and estimator. The majority of his experience has been with multi-unit residential buildings, particularly senior living and market rate apartments. Jason is very mindful on all of his projects and maintains a positive attitude from start to finish. Making him another valuable member of the team.
Keith Dunn's Bio
Keith has more than 10 years of professional experience in the construction industry. He has a diverse collection of projects including retail, industrial, office and multi-family. Keith’s skills include project management, cost estimating, vendor negotiations, and project development.
Keith’s number one goal is always to create an open collaboration between subcontractors, owners, and the design team. He looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients while building a quality product.

As General Manager, Kyle Knudsen oversees the day-to-day operations and is involved in supporting the aggressive growth and expansion BDB has experienced and forecasts long-term. As a Project Manager, Kyle Anderson has over 10 years of experience in the private, public and retail construction industry. With Kyle’s versatile experience and team approach, he brings added value to the Bauer Design Build team. Whether it is leading a project from start to finish, or assisting others, Kyle will ensure the owner has a quality product in the end.
Mike Laqua's Bio
Mike has nearly thirty years of diversified management and estimating experience within the industrial, commercial, and heavy construction markets. His portfolio, which began as a hands-on construction tradesman, was later enhanced by a degree in Construction Engineering.
Mike consistently challenges his associates to offer their expertise and implements the information gained for the benefit of the project and all involved. Through an aggressive and diligent commitment to service and detail, Mike understands the importance of the client’s schedule and makes sure that the doors open on time. Mike has gained the confidence of his clients and the respect of his associates by delivering what was promised.
Nate Gebert's Bio
Nate has nearly 20 years of diverse experience in commercial, institutional, and multi-family construction. Nate leverages his experience to provide new and uniquely tailored approaches to each project. Collaboration is key to driving a successful project which requires building trust and early involvement with critical team members to identify and control risk.

In addition to be being an intuitive communicator, Nate is known for his attention to detail and thorough issue resolution process. He is skilled in project management, scheduling, and cost control. Nate prides himself in delivering a quality product and lasting value to his clients.
Tom Lampe's Bio
With 25 years experience in the construction industry, Tom’s understanding of the construction process and problem solving skills ensure that when the project is complete it fully meets the client’s satisfaction. Safety is Tom’s number one priority and his job sites have had zero lost time accidents.
Construction is driven by the needs and wants of the end user. My goal is to facilitate and deliver an efficient and quality end product.

Zac Syverson's Bio
Zac has been around the construction industry his whole life. He went on and received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. Throughout college, Zac gained valuable knowledge from his internships with general contractors as well as subcontractors which allowed him to see different point of views on a project. Zac most recently comes to us with Multi-Family Wood Frame experience. His positive outlook and ability to adapt to changing environments allows him to be an asset on all projects he assists on.
