Scope Of Work
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
KBS provides preconstruction services and construction management on many projects for the Topeka Zoo. We have been their general contractor on special exhibits, new construction projects and habitats. Some of the projects were: Outdoor Orangutan Exhibit, Lorikeet Aviary, Butterfly Building, New Rainforest Roof, Elephant Facility and Habitat, Hippo Habitat, Carnivore Shade, Penguin Plunge, Alligator Exhibit, Quarantine Building, Animal Clinic, Giraffe Access, Zoo Pergola, and the coming Kay’s Garden.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
KBS has a special bond with the Topeka Zoo. Whether it is a paying project or offering in-kind help, we are there. KBS is a Business Partner sponsor at the Zoo. We believe in the gift they give to our community. That is why we are provided the community a free day at the Zoo in celebration of our 30th anniversary.
