Better Builders of Oregon, Inc. is a family owned and operated, custom design + build, green building company with over 29 years of experience in the industry.  We specialize in ICF construction because of its safety, energy efficiency and versatility.   We pride ourselves on our honesty, experience, hard work, and craft.

At the helm of Better Builders of Oregon is Jerry Spivey, a experienced professional who learned to swing a hammer when he was nearing three feet tall.  He followed in the footsteps of his father, a builder and particularly earnest man.  Now with over 29 years in the industry, Jerry has earned a reputation for his honesty, craftsmanship, and experience, and has become a sought after expert in ICF construction in the Pacific Northwest.  Jerry's calm, knowledgable and practical approach is invaluable during the build process.  

Terri Valiant has over 20 years experience as an urban planner in the US and abroad.  She understands the technical development & building requirements of the permitting process and helps ensure a smooth, calm and enjoyable process for the home owners.  Enthused by the creative process, Terri put urban planning aside to run the office side of business.
