I have had to call them 3 times in the last 2 weeks, once to service air conditioner, second time, I thought it was air conditioner and it wasn't, it was plumbing. Each time I have called they were there that same day. When plumbing came out and we had discussed what to do about the leak, the service gentleman came back to the house and said he found the leak and that it might be good news, well it was good news. I will recommend Westbrook to anyone. Exceptional service. Even the ones that answer the phone.
Our Salesman, James, was exceptional. Answered any question. Everything he told us turned out to be true (truth telling with our previous AC Company had become quite a novelty). Installers, Chris and Eric, outstanding; asked us why previous company had connecting (outside to inside unit) lines in the hot attic. Previous company said the chase under the slab was un-useable. American Air installer said access though the chase was no problem. In about 20+ minutes lines from 1987 were removed. New lines were installed using the chase. Result: no more lines getting warmed in the attic. Both outdoor and indoor connections are cleaner and considerably more professional. Start time was about 8:00am and finished about 8:30pm. We were assured all was good. And it was good, very, very good. We had been a week without air and the night before installation, A portable AC was brought for our Bedroom. We slept well, kept cool while the install was being completed. American Air was recommended to us by a very good colleague who recently had used them for a second time. After a few hiccups at the start of the project, it all turned out good. The technicians did a great job. It was a lot of work to fix some leaks in shower and recipe the area. The install of the new bath sink faucet was not easy, house built in 1952 so plumbing repairs that look simple turn out to be much more difficult and time consuming. These guys took it stride. I would hire them again.

After interviewing three different companies and having been recommended to you by one of your employees, we were excited to give our business to you in purchasing both indoor and outdoor air conditioning units for both the first and second floors of our home. Unfortunately, your salesperson sent us an email on Saturday, August 12 at 6:50 p.m. telling us that after management reviewed our requests, it was decided that your company did not want our business. Below please find a copy of the emails that were sent back and forth.
When a homeowner is concerned about their child’s well being and we ask of a company to be respectful of the situation, we believe that it is unfortunate that your company does not want to take the extra measure to satisfy their customers’ needs. Furthermore, in this day and age where people are much wiser as they are able to research information on the internet, your salesperson should be more knowledgeable on the products your company offers. When we questioned him on the outside compressor for the second floor unit, he did not realize he had given us incorrect information.
We were stunned when we received your email on a Saturday night turning us down. However, we would like to thank you for doing so as the family operated HVAC company we hired not only met our expectations but exceeded them. They were able to lend us two portable AC units for us to be comfortable while they worked on installing the new units! We emailed them the same list of concerns we emailed your company and not only did they agree to all of our concerns but went above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
We hope that in the future, your company can learn that having good customer relations and accommodating the customers’ needs most likely means having a customer for life. Furthermore, there is nothing more powerful than a word of mouth referral so by me writing an excellent review about this small, family owned and operated company and posting it they will continue to grow and be more successful. Excellence in customer relations and customer service can also mean keeping your business alive!

A friend recommended Westbrook to me so I gave them a try. I recently installed a tankless water heater in my home and needed the installation certified by a licensed electrician. Their electrician, Tommy, a Master Electrician, showed up and thoroughly inspected my installation. He did find a few small problems and actually helped me fix them with parts he had on his truck. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend their services to anyone.
I am happy to say that I have 5 stars because I have had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Todd Gray from Westbrook. He listened and honstly, I feel comfortable enough saying that he will take care of my concerns. 5 stars.
I cannot express enough how happy I was to have chosen Westbook to install my HVAC unit. I had gotten quotes from 6 other shops. ( I removed the names for this facebook posting )
You deserve a lot of praise Steven, because you were the salesperson who won me over. The aforementioned shops sent over their sales folks and they all had a particular pitch or angle that made them serious candidates. Your approach was convincing, yet not aggressive to the point where I felt you were trying too hard to sell me which was key.
Making a multi thousand dollar decision was not easy and once made, was stressful to say the least. Did I choose the correct unit? Did I choose the best shop to do the install? Am I spending too much money?, etc. etc.
BTW: I chose the Lennox XP25 because of its high SEER rating.
From the moment the crew arrived, they made me feel at ease. As the day went on, I saw how Dale and Eric were there not to do an install as quick as possible and get home, which by the way there is nothing wrong with that. They were there to do a professional install which in this case took about 11 hours. Never was there a moment where they gave a vibe of wanting to rush to complete the job. Dale and Eric took their time and ensured the job was meticulously done which is something I truly and wholeheartedly appreciate.
Steven, please forward this email to your GM so that he/she can read about my experience and gratitude for a job well done all around.

Technician was a little late but called to explain he was stuck in rush hour traffic. When he came, he went right to work, did all required maintenance & explained what he was doing as he went along - very much appreciated. He was polite and we were very happy with his work ethic. Thank you Westbrook.
We have received spectacular service and a courteous exchange with a Westbrook technician that is rare these days. From the start of the repair to the cleanup we were beyond pleased . I would recommend Westbrook for all of your service needs. It's just too bad they don't repair cars. We could use some quality in that field for sure.
I am giving you a 5 Star rating for one reason only.....your employee Chela. When we sold our house in the beginning of May, I called Chela to cancel the extended warranty on our a/c unit we purchased in the end of 2015 and found out that I needed to come to the Westbrook office to fill out some forms. I drove to the office and Chela helped me fill out the forms for the cancellation. I left the office knowing it would be a few weeks before I would hear anything about my refund. THAT is when the aggravation started as I found out that Westbrook doesn’t cancel the warranty. It has to be sent to complete care to be canceled. Fast forward a few weeks and having heard excuses from both Westbrook and the 3rd party company about who was responsible for providing the refund of the warranty, I was done and was ready to go to social media and local investigative reporters. Here is where Chela jumps back into the situation and gets the boat righted and sailing in the correct direction. Chela kept me informed all along the way even when a new wrinkle was added by Lennox who jumped in the fray and messed up the refund even further. Chela was very patient with me and kept me updated all along. She was able to work magic and got my refund check for me today and I am so very appreciative. So for my rating I would give Chela a 10 if I could and would give Westbrook, Lennox and Complete Care a negative rating if I could.
