Our Story

Bradley-Sciocchetti, Inc. has its roots deep in the consulting engineering communities of Eastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey and Delaware. Founding partner G.U. Bennett Bradley opened the firm in 1964 as Bradley Engineering Sales Company, located in Huntington Valley, PA. Bradley Engineering quickly developed a client base of Professional Engineers and Mechanical Contractors, focusing on Combustion Controls and Instrumentation by CEA, Cleveland Controls. In 1966 Ralph Sciocchetti joined Bradley Engineering. During the next 10-12 years Ben and Ralph grew the small firm into a major manufacturers representative, moved to Prospect Park, PA and offered equipment sales, specification writing and service.

During the energy crisis of the mid 70’s Power Flame burners were added to their product line. The addition of this major burner manufacturer (58% Market share in North America) brought a host of boiler manufacturers to BSIs door. Hence, a Boiler Division was added.

In 1977 Ralph became a full partner and the company was renamed Bradley-Sciocchetti, Inc. No longer able to support the service demands of their growing customer base on their own, Ben and Ralph added service technicians John Rex, Paul Syfrit and Andy Leberknight from nearby Williamson Trade School. All three remain with the company today as our Senior Service Technician, Service Manager and Systems Program Designer. In 1983 Ben left BSI to pursue other ventures.

In 1985 Ralph partnered with long time customer Frank North of FM North and Associates, a Mechanical Contracting and Service company. The two firms joined forces, and BSI relocated to its current location in Pennsauken, NJ.

In 1995 BSI became an authorized Johnson controls system integrator and expanded into the building automation industry. Soon after they added Honeywell and Siemens controls and became authorized system integrators for both product lines. Today Bradley Sciocchetti has installed and serviced equipment in thousands of facilities throughout the tristate area and continues to provide unparalleled sales, service and industry expertise.
