Acme Sunshades Enterprise Inc.

Founded in 1922 by Carl Rawitzer Acme Sunshades Enterprise Inc. (formerly known as Acme Awning Company) began fabricating and installing custom awnings and canopies throughout the San Francisco Bay Area from its original location in San Leandro, California. The son of the very first president to serve on the board of what is now the Industrial Fabrics Association International (IFAI), Carl’s vision of his American dream was greatly inspired by his Fathers’ chosen profession.

Receiving many awards over the years for our quality workmanship on design, fabrication and installation, Acme Sunshades Enterprise Inc. takes great pride in making sure every client not just leaves satisfied but returns to us for years to come.

To find out just how successful we’ve been at accomplishing this goal we hired ‘Valuestar, Inc.’ in the mid-1990’s to conduct an extensive customer survey and found that we have maintained a high level of customer satisfaction retaining their business for any future residential or commercial projects they have. We’ve been honored by their many referred friends, neighbors, and colleagues. Intending to uphold this reputation by not just meeting our clients needs but by exceeding their expectations as well.
