Associated Builders & Contractors Eastern PA Chapter

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national commercial construction association with 70 chapters representing more than 21,000 merit shop construction and construction-related firms with nearly two million employees. 

The ABC Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter represents more than 14,000 merit construction employees who work for nearly 500 member companies. The Eastern Pa. Chapter has members in the following counties: Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Bucks, Montgomery, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Carbon, Schuylkill, Pike, Luzerne, Lackawanna, Wayne, Wyoming and Susquehanna. We have two offices (in Delaware Valley and Lehigh Valley) and two training centers (in Harleysville and Allentown).

Our Vision: To lead the construction industry, guided by the principles of merit construction and free enterprise, while promoting growth in our marketplace and providing the highest level of safety, quality and training to our membership. 

Our Mission: Promote the value of merit construction to our legislators, the marketplace and the general public by educating them on the usefulness ABC provides to the construction industry and the importance of free enterprise. Provide cutting-edge knowledge to our members toward developing their workforce en route to becoming leaders in their profession, offering opportunities for growth from within. Offer certified and recognized programs which are vital for our members to train their workers toward building safe and quality projects for their customers. Support our members by providing them with the tools to promote the safety, quality and professionalism on projects that are built by merit construction professionals.

If you are an expert in a construction-related topic, we are always looking for teachers or facilitators for upcoming classes. Position yourself as a resource to your targeted demographics!

Host a Lunch and Learn, or a networking mixer at our ABC Allentown Office (all logistical coordination and costs to be provided by member).
