Our engineering technical services include green building design, passive house and sustainability consulting for multifamily new construction projects, For existing multifamily and residential properties, we benchmark building energy and water usage, and perform energy modeling, energy audits, integrated physical needs assessments (IPNAs and GPNAs), project work scope and specification development, retro-commissioning, and more. We manage construction services and we install many energy efficiency measures directly. We are nationally known for our leadership in multifamily energy efficiency.

AEA's staff of engineers, energy auditors, program managers, construction project managers, field technicians, and quality assurance inspectors are qualified by extensive experience and hold key industry certifications from the Passive House Institute, PHIUS, Building Performance Institute, and Association of Energy Engineers, in their specialties.

Our skilled and expert trainers have a passion for energy efficiency and sustainable development. Many of them are actively involved consulting or overseeing construction for new high performance buildings or energy upgrades at existing buildings. We train energy professionals, construction managers, contractors, weatherization workers, multifamily building operators, and efficiency program managers to drive the deepest possible energy savings in their projects. We train real estate professionals to understand home energy rating systems and advise their clients how energy efficiency adds value to their homes.

We also research new technology to enhance the efficiency and productivity of building systems.

You can rely on AEA for comprehensive professional and construction services to meet your energy management goals
