Northwest Abatement Services, Inc. has highly trained, AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act) certified professionals that have been conducting surveys all over the state of Washington. An AHERA certified inspector is someone who has obtained the AHERA Building Inspector accreditation. You must be AHERA certified in order to take even one sample of an asbestos-containing product. Typically, AHERA inspections are necessary when doing a renovation or demolition. In addition to AHERA surveys, we also conduct bulk sampling which tests for not only asbestos, but lead and mold as well.
