Coordinated Metals, Inc. is a leading provider in the fabrication and installation of custom and standard ornamental metal products. Serving the New York Metropolitan construction industry since 1973, CMI specializes in building entrances, curtain walls, canopies, railings and all related storefront and door products. CMI is also an authorized dealer for various national manufacturers such as Kawneer, Vistawall, EFCO, Blumcraft, Dorma/Crane Door and Ellison Door.

COMPANY SPECIFICS:

CMI has within it’s 36,000 square foot plant two power brake presses at 12 foot and 14 foot capacity with matching shears, welding and polishing capabilities and other related metal working equipment to support a working staff of over 20 qualified union shop mechanics.
Our products include stainless steel, bronze, aluminum and steel fabrications along with all related glass and glazing. Strategically located in the NJ Meadowlands, CMI field installation is performed with our permanent staff of highly experienced local #580 ironworkers. CMI is also a member of the Allied Building Metal Industries, Inc., representing the leading metal and glass subcontractors in New York City.

SERVICES:

CMI provides full design, engineering and estimating services from project inception to completion. Our experienced Engineering, AutoCAD and Project Management staff will assist in developing custom applications as well as full support services through fabrication, scheduling and final installation. Shop drawings are provided on all projects prior to fabrication with New York State PE stamped and sealed calculations, if required. Payment and performance bonding is available. CMI is an approved vendor for Landmarks, NYC School Construction Authority, Port Authority, VENDEX and MTA projects.

CMI has been performing work for the leading Architectural firms, Developers and Contractors since our earliest days in business. Our work includes many highly recognized buildings in New York City such as The World Financial Center, The Chrysler Building, The Hearst Building, Time Warner Center, Grand Central Terminal, Rockefeller Center and Trump Tower. CMI has also performed many retail and commercial residential projects featuring unique ornamental metal applications.
