Scope Of Work

The program was to create a traditional Japanese Restaurant that promotes Japanese cuisine and culture to the American public in a ?rst class manner. The site is an old pier, projecting into the Hudson River, with a view of the George Washington Bridge and Manhattan. The design solution resulted in a two-story, temple-like restaurant with an elaborately landscaped Japanese rock garden and pond, which surround the structure on three sides.
