In 15 years of architectural practice, Christopher has designed over 30 ministry facilities, several mixed-use and residential developments, single family homes, a Ronald McDonald House, office interiors, restaurants, and multimedia installations. He is an adjunct professor at Judson University and Wheaton College, focusing on design studios as well as digital representation and fabrication courses.
Chris’s approach to ministry architecture is informed by his childhood as a missionary kid and his education in a Christian grade school. His undergraduate studies at Ball State University included community-based design, sustainability, acoustics, and multi-media design, culminating in a Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering. Chris continued his studies with a Master of Architecture at Cornell University, where he focused on discourse, theory, and digital representation. Chris continues to study church architecture, history, and theology to enrich himself and the clients he serves.
Christopher and his wife, Jacqueline, are members of Wheaton Bible Church where he serves as president of the Genesis adult community. Chris enjoys leading worship with his guitar or ukulele for groups of any size. He continues to serve in the community, leading an Architecture Club at Wheaton Christian Grammar School and presenting design workshops in public elementary schools. Chris is a board member with the American Institute of Architects Northeast Illinois chapter, helping connect architects, students, and their communities.

Dennis has over 35 years of construction industry experience and 25 years of chief executive experience. Dennis has strong leadership and managerial skills for the projects he undertakes. His ability to analyze and resolve design, technical and financial issues, as well as formulate action plans is essential to his role. He is growing the science of how architecture stimulates church growth, worship, the performing arts, and community bonds.
Dennis has been the Project Manager and General Contractor for over $300M of church buildings, schools, libraries, office buildings, hospitals, sports facilities, commercial kitchens, retail stores, warehouses, apartments and elderly housing (over 400 units). He has held a Series 7 NASB License and was a Registered Representative and Banker with Commonwealth Church Finance, was former Vice President of Design and Construction Operations of Masterserve, Inc., and has been an instructor of architecture and land surveying at the University of Akron. He and his staff have designed and/or built over 100 church facilities. He also is active as a commercial Real Estate Broker, helping churches sell or find the right properties, and prepare feasibility plans for zoning and re-purposing a building.
Dennis has been involved in the community as Chairman of the Board of the Wheaton College Community School of the Arts, and as a Board Member and Long Range Planning Chairman/Counselor for Wayside Ministries; Homeless Shelter, Work Program, Drug Rehab Program, Prison Chaplaincy, Women and Children’s Shelter, Retail Store and Urban Youth Programs. He also serves on the Board of Repeat Boutique, working together with World Relief to provide free household goods and clothing to refugees, Christian workers’ families, and church referred needy. He has served as a church Treasurer, Trustee and Teacher, in Junior High and Adult Ministries and Short Term Missions, and has led and been a member of several church and mission building committees.
He has authored books and guides to help churches plan and organize for a building expansion project.
Dennis has given public hearing and court testimony as an expert in church zoning and church finance. He has consulted for municipal planners, zoning boards, and city councils regarding church building developments and has taught seminars on church building programs, church zoning issues, and church finance. He has counseled scores of churches on site selection, master planning, financial planning, and all aspects of design and construction. As a Church Consultant, he conducts Church Health Surveys and Analysis, as well as Facilities Needs Analysis.
Dennis enjoys studies in Church History and Theology, watercolors, and walks with his dog. He is a member of College Church in Wheaton. Dennis and his wife Carole, CBC’s Personnel Director, have three adult sons and enjoy spending time with their grandson.

As Senior Project Manager, John assumes responsibility for the total project, from start to finish, and acts as a liaison for all aspects of construction. His duties include product and method selection, setting up and mobilization of project, awarding of contracts, oversight of construction operations, scheduling and conducting project meetings, making recommendations, processing all payment and change orders requests, and closely monitoring the progress schedule.
John is experienced in all phases of church construction, as he has managed over $50 million of new construction and major renovation church projects. He is conscientious regarding scheduling and works closely to coordinate the trades.
