Our Story

OMNI Fire & Security was founded in 1987.

Our purpose was to provide the people of Houston and Harris County an alternative to the impersonal nationwide companies.  Our customers typically pass their fire marshal occupancy inspection on the first visit - 98% of the time!   Your customers hate change orders!  We work hard to make sure our estimates meet code and cover all the devices the building will need.  The lowest price may not be the best price.  Is your fire alarm vendor leaving off items just to win the bid - knowing he'll be charging you more later?

Local: OMNI Fire & Security is a locally owned and operated authorized security dealer for Honeywell and First Alert products, meaning our focus and scope is only of the Greater Houston area and surrounding counties. As far as your priority alarm signals, our national competitors, often monitor their customers from over sized, out-of-state monitoring centers on unstable 800 phone systems that commonly fail during storms and power outages. However, our 24 hour a day, 7 days a week monitoring center is located in San Antonio, in a very secure environment, and we would be glad to give you a tour of our Texas owned and staffed center, just give us a call.

Better: Countless Houston residents and businesses, ranging from small homes to huge factories, depend on OMNI Fire & Security to meet their secured premises needs, fire protection concerns, CCTV applications, network video recording systems, and access control solutions. OMNI Fire & Security strives to serve its customer’s needs on an everyday basis. Our high level of customer service and support is exactly why long-time customers such as Chevron, La Fitness and the Houston Police Department, countless day-care and adult-care homes, educational facilities of all types, churches, factories, homes, and businesses count on OMNI for their peace of mind.

Different: OMNI Fire & Security operates closely with the local police departments, fire marshal’s offices, and community resources to ensure life safety and property protection. Each salesperson and technician is motivated by the people in Houston and has a complete understanding of the security industry in order to get you the security solution you need, no matter what size! OMNI Fire & Security strives to work in applications where bigger companies cannot, from 24 hour fire alarm monitoring to 24 hour temperature sensitive monitoring (freezers, wine cellars, etc.) to 24 hour flood monitoring to 24 hour access control monitoring and building access. Have a special need or area? OMNI can help you! Just give us a call at 281.591.1944.

How do you want to be treated? That’s the way we want to treat you!

In 1995, OMNI Fire and Security is proud to have been selected as one of the Houston 100, a list of Houston’s fastest growing privately owned companies. Because of you, our valued clients, we have been expanding quickly every year since 1987.

How does dealing with a local company benefit you?

When you call for service today, you won’t have to wait until next week to see a service tech.  We try our best to have a service tech on site within 24 hours. For emergency situations, we even have a service tech on call around the clock.

We care. Your experience when dealing with a company should be a good one. If you are ever not satisfied for any reason, call us and tell us what you would like to happen. Your situation will be taken care of in a manner that you feel is fair and proper.
