Our Story

Epic Mechanical was incorporated in 1990, we are a full service HVAC contractor with an in-house union sheet metal shop and piping divisions. We also have a union control/service department, Automated Building Controls.

Epic’s current DPMC qualification is up to $15 million dollars and we are bonded up to $25 million.

Our largest single project has been up to $10 million.

We have extensive experience with various types of projects both public and private. Typical included retail stores/malls, K-12 public schools, colleges and universities. We have also done numerous office buildings, country clubs, senior life and assisted living facilities.

Our experience includes design/build work as well as plan/spec projects. They range from brand new construction to additions/renovations of existing buildings.

Epic has an in-house Mechanical Engineer for design/build projects or value engineering assistance.

Our firm is located at 3320 Route 66 in Neptune Township. Our complex consists of an Administration Building, Sheet metal fabrication shop and a warehouse building.

In 2014 Epic installed a 65 kw solar system which is comprised of 260 ET solar panels located on 2 of our buildings. On the fabrication shop we used a Unirac self-ballasted racking system tilted at 10 degrees and on the warehouse we mounted the solar panels directly to a raised seam metal roof using S5 clamps with PV kits. The 65.5 kw power plant consists of 6 Frounius inverters with an estimated yearly electrical generation of 78,447 kWh. The system is monitored via a we based system.

We are proud to be partners with the following Labor unions;

Sheetmetal : Locals 25 and 27
Pipefitters: Locals 9, 274 and 322

Our scope of work on projects include installation of :
Chillers, Air Handling units, Rooftop units, Unit ventilators, VAV systems, ice storage systems, fans, boilers, pumps, air devices, sheet metal specialties, ATC systems, cooling towers, kitchen hoods.
