Mr. Kos has 16 years of experience in the general and mechanical construction industries. Over the years, he has worked in the field and in the office as a facilities coordinator, carpenter, Foreman and assistant superintendent. In these positions he gained valuable experience in building operations, supervising and coordinating a wide variety of projects. Currently, Mr. Kos serves as a Superintendent for Ranger Construction at KLA Tencor. As such, he coordinates ongoing construction projects from design of projects to completion. Kos ensures customer satisfaction at all job sites. He has tailored his management skills by interfacing with and managing subcontractors, architects, and work crews.
Mr. Kos offers a wealth of knowledge in a variety of projects and industries. With experience in commercial and residential environments, he has supervised jobs ranging in size from small office tenant improvements to custom homes to high-rise facilities. The mechanical projects on which he has worked include clean room construction, hazardous materials handling, and chemical containment for clients like IBM, Read-Rite Corporation, Van Waters and Associates and Schlumberger Technologies, Apple Computer, and Micro Soft.
Mr. Kos’s formal industry training includes the completion of his apprenticeship with the Carpenters Union, Basic Electricity Classes, Carrier’s Fundamentals of Air conditioning, CPR and Project management, Customer Relations and various other classes. Robert holds current certifications that include 10 hour OSHA Supervisor, Lead and, Asbestos safety training Certificates.
