Our Story

Ameriscan uses GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) and radiodetection equipment to determine the location and depth of objects embedded in the subsurface.  GPR technology can be used for concrete slab assessment as well as underground utility locating.  Common applications of GPR/radiodetection scanning include scanning concrete floor and wall slabs to locate rebar reinforcement and any potential in-slab electrical conduits. GPR and radiodetection technology is also used to locate underground utility lines including: electrical, gas, water, sewer and communications piping.  Ground penetrating radar technology is an important tool in subsurface investigations to locate any potential underground voids/soil disturbaces that may lead to dangerous conditions and costly repairs.  Ameriscan technicians offer professional service and have years of experience with the use of both GPR and radiodetection equipment.
