Our Story

StarTec Communications is a family owned and operated custom electronic design and installation company serving Eastern Massachusetts for over 12 years. Based in Hingham, StarTec integrates state of the art audio/video systems, security/telephone systems, lighting/ energy management systems, PC networks, and most other communications systems into both new and existing homes.

We work with you, the customer, the architect, the builder, the interior designer, and all other sub contractors to design, pre-wire and install the system of your dreams. We offer some of the finest and most advanced products on the market. Our ability to integrate sub systems within a home and offer a seamless package sets us apart from all of our competition.

With the graceful and elegant styling, and vast array of features the DSC systems are a perfect addition to any home. StarTec can design a system that is completely personalized easy to understand and a pleasure to use. Our state of the art UL & FM listed central station is there to protect your family 24 hours a day. Our central station can also monitor equipment used to detect abnormal heat and water levels in your home.
