Scope Of Work
In 2005, The Old Fashioned was created by renovating a 5,255-square-foot build-out of a previous restaurant. The meticulous millwork, aesthetically pleasing bar area, and uniquely Madison, Wisconsin, vibe has enabled The Old Fashioned to flourish on the Capitol Square and continuously rank among the premier restaurants in downtown Madison.
Friede & Associates overcame many challenges in constructing The Old Fashioned, as Capitol Square—a destination for popular restaurants, parks and music venues—is an area heavily traveled by people and traffic. Intricate planning and precise timing proved to be the deciding factor in the success of the construction of this favorite restaurant and bar.
