Scope Of Work
Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield’s new 210,000-SF corporate headquarters is one of several projects constructed by AlliedCook in the Cummings Road Business Park.
Built on ledge utilizing special rock anchors, this six-story building includes professional office space, a full-service cafeteria and fitness center.
With the project approximately one third complete, a hurricane hit South Portland damaging all of the first floor drywall. Even though the drywall needed to be completely replaced, the project was still completed within the rigorous 14-month schedule and was also completed on budget.
AlliedCook has continued providing construction management services to Anthem over the years on numerous renovation projects.
