As fabricators and installers in the above ground and below grade tank industry in the 1990s, we know what it is like to be on a job site trying to follow a drawing that is not clear or accurate, or one that has numerous "red flags" that strongly indicates that the draftsman did not really understand what they were actually drawing. Those drawings usually ended up in the nearest trench or dumpster. We also generally needed the drawings yesterday and were frustrated by long lead times and then revision after revision to get it right. Usually, we would be forced to just figure it out ourselves on site as to what needed to be done with men and materials now factored in to each issue. In October of 2001, JPK Drafting & Design was started to service contractors, fabricators and installers with professional shop drawings that get you through the review and approval process and then out into the shop and field where they serve as reliable guides for fabrication, installation and coordination with the other trades. As we celebrate our 18th year with thousands of drawings shipped across the US and Hawaii, we still focus on that initial and singular purpose and goal for each and every job. All of the staff here at JPK have extensive construction, installation, and fabrication experience in addition to strong technical CAD based drawing skills. JPK uses on-going training, state-of-the-art hardware equipment and industry based software programs to provide our clients with the high quality shop and coordination drawings and services at a competitive price.
