Born and raised in Philadelphia, I attended La Salle High School
before joining the United States Marine Corps. After serving in Iraq
post 9/11 I joined the NYPD and remained in the USMC reserves. I
served as a street cop in the 63rd precinct in Brooklyn, NY for
several years before I came home to Philadelphia to pursue my dream of
becoming a Philadelphia firefighter. I am currently a Philadelphia
Fire Captain in West Philadelphia.
After earning a BSN from La Salle University and a Public Safety
degree from Neuman University, I also received a Master’s degree in
science with specialty in homeland security from Farleigh Dickinson
University. In the past year, I was tasked with managing all COVID
operations for the Philadelphia Fire Dept. to include the Liacouras
surge facility and 3 major Philadelphia vaccination sites. I have been
happily married for over 19 years and I am a father to 6 beautiful children.
I started this business with a shovel and developed our family owned
and operated business into one of the largest self-performing snow
operations in Pennsylvania.
