Our Story

JMEC Wiring Group was established in 1997 as “J.M. Electrical Contractors, Inc." by Mr. Joseph Mutino. Mr. Mutino pursued and surpassed his dreams of becoming a Master Electrician by establishing an empire of wiring companies. Mr. Mutino’s idea was to encapsulate multiple services under one roof, giving customers and general contractors the ability to hire one company for all of their wiring needs. With this in mind, Mr. Mutino opened two more businesses to support his dream: Island Generator (generator installation, maintenance, service), and Sureline Wiring (low voltage wiring).

JMEC Wiring Group primarily performs services for residential, commercial, industrial, and parking and revenue control systems. With the support from the additional entities, JMEC Wiring Group has excelled in the electrical industry. Innovative and efficient electricians, lead by an incredibly talented and intelligent foreman, Joel Sorto, produce quality work on every job site. JMEC Wiring Group is a company that leaves an awe-inspiring mark of completion at every job. With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Mutino continues to adjust the structures of the businesses with the economical and industrial changes that occur.

JMEC Wiring Group is the prime option when searching for a trustworthy electrical company to get the job done efficiently and promptly.
