Scope Of Work
T.Y. Lin International provided architectural and M/E/P engineering services for a state-of-the-art conference center at ITT’s division headquarters. This 5,000 square-foot space had previously been used as a cafeteria, requiring significant conversion.
The design of the conference room included wall partitions, creating an adaptable space that can be transitioned into three smaller conference suites. The ceiling acoustics were given particular attention, with other design features including lighting, power, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.
Specialty systems in the project included a video conferencing system, high-end lighting, integrated controls, telephone and data systems, and audio-visual systems in all three conference suites. The client requested a high-end design that fit within a tight budget and time constraints. This project was completed on time and below budget.
