As early as age 13, Louis Proietto spent his summer vacation and weekends painting with his father outside of Philadelphia. At the age of 24 he decided to leave the family business and branch out on his own. Since that time, Proietto Painting has grown from a small operation into a multi-million dollar corporation.

In 1993, Louis identified the caulking and waterproofing business as an untapped industry in South Florida and subsequently established Pro-Tech Caulking and Waterproofing to fill this void. In 1995 he partnered with Tom Welsh, who contributed a wealth of knowledge from practical experience in the field. Since this time Pro-Tech has emerged as a driving force in the industry. The professional manner in which Pro-Tech conducts their operations has earned them a stellar reputation in their field.
