With over 23 years of experience in the construction industry, Jeff oversees the day-to-day operations at Derek Engineering and is highly experienced at pre-qualifying, selecting, and managing sub-contractors.

Through his commitment to excellence and dedication to professionalism, Jeff has continued to exceed industry standards by forming strong professional partnerships based on integrity and reliability.

Jeff has managed over $200 million in renovation and new build projects. He has a deep understanding of what it takes to be successful in running a construction company, and a proven track record of being on time and on budget.

Jeff oversees all of Derek Engineering’s projects beginning with design, pre-construction, and construction, through the certificate of occupancy.

Anna comes to Derek Engineering with a strong executive and administrative background.  She has 20+ years of combined experience in commercial leasing of retail and office space which included overseeing clients tenant improvements and build-out of space. In addition, Anna has led multiple teams in project management, production management, business development, and marketing of both public and private companies. 

Early this year Anna decided it was time to switch gears and take her well-rounded experience to the commercial general contracting world. She left a high-rank executive position to apply her extensive background to her passion that started over 20 years ago in commercial development. One of her first ground-up experiences was Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, Arizona. Being able to work alongside this team and witness the large mass of land become a 1.3 million square feet Regional Shopping Mall, was truly one of the greatest experiences in her career.  

With over 35 years of experience, Don has a strong background in construction excellence.

Don is responsible for managing field crews, preparing submittals, reviewing shop drawings, scheduling subcontractors and all job site coordination. His wide range of experience has equipped him with valuable knowledge and skill in nearly every aspect of construction. His work ranges from tenant improvements to large industrial new builds including clients such as WinCo Foods,  US Foods, DC Ranch Crossing, and W.L. Gore and Associates.

?Over the years Don has developed strong relationships with building inspectors, city officials, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Greg is a  AP with over 20 years of experience in project and construction management in the Phoenix, Arizona area.  He brings a rich and varied background in the field of construction to the team. He is highly skilled in the planning and management of complex projects. Greg leads the project management effort at Derek Engineering as a Senior Project Manager.

During his career, Greg’s main area of focus includes large industrial new builds, retail centers, and renovation projects. Some of his high-profile projects include the Amazon, REI Distribution Center, Shutterfly, and Hensley & Company. Greg’s passion is to see a project through from design to construction completion with an emphasis on project delivery, quality control, safety, teamwork, and innovation.
