That's me, Jared Marshall, founder of Tanker Enterprises, on-site holding the blueprints. My story starts as a tank gunner in Iraq, dealing daily with the challenges and hardships of being away from my family in the military.
A few years later my story continues back home in Indiana. Discharged from the military -- and my own life compass adrift -- I found myself on the brink of homelessness. Staring off into yet another beautiful Hoosier sunset I wondered how I could ever make ends meet. I had great skills, but bills were piling up. Could I provide for my own family, put a roof over our heads, and healthy food in our stomachs? I knew that I had to do something. Remembering what the army had taught me " I will never give up and I will never accept defeat" and " Adapt and Overcome" I took to my roots being raised in a construction family and began a new chapter in life.
From this small germ of a vision -- and my own experience in the industry -- Tanker Enterprises was born. My mission is simple: Provide access to an innovative and affordable labor source to complete the framing phase of our clients projects.
