Irish Creek Construction

As President and Founder, Dave stays very involved in all company activities. He directly oversees the Excavating division, Human Resources, General Operations and provides support to the General Construction, Construction Management and Service Center Divisions. While not working, Dave enjoys breeding and showing cutting horses, with his wife, Robin and serving his community on numerous boards including the Centre Township Land Protection Foundation, the Centre Township Municipal Authority, the Berks County Agriculture Board, and the Pennsylvania Cutting Horse Association Board of Directors.

Sarah graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Systems Management in 2010 and joined Irish Creek in her current role in 2017. Sarah directly oversees the General Construction and Construction Management Division, Marketing, Business Development and daily office operations. Outside of work, Sarah is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys various outdoor activities with her two Australian Cattle Dogs, Dipper and Jade.

Chris joined Irish Creek in 2002 as a laborer, but quickly worked his way up in the field to an excellent Equipment Operator  Project Foreman. As Irish Creek’s workload grew, someone was needed to assist David in field scheduling  project coordination. Chris easily filled that roll as Irish Creek’s Operations Manager.  Chris does a great job of overseeing the scheduling  coordination of all Irish Creek’s projects, as well as running equipment himself.

When David Phillips decided to open Irish Creek Excavating to the public, he knew that he would need an exceptional ‘right hand’ to assist him in daily business practices and decisions. So, he hired Jen Watkins and together they navigated the trials and tribulations of starting and building a business. Jen was Irish Creek’s very first hire and remains’ as our Office Manager today, continually keeping all daily business functions in check and running smoothly.
