Our Story
We are located in Torrance, California. We have other Axis company offices located throughout California.
Axis Leak Detection focuses on Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) which is the process of detecting the presence of and pinpointing the location of breaches and leaks in nonconductive roofing and waterproofing membranes and coatings. ELD is a quality control testing service that pinpoints breaches in roofing and waterproofing membranes and coatings. Breaches are found by detecting a water path to building ground, completing an electrical circuit.
ELD testing is a nondestructive test of the roofing and waterproofing and coating membranes.
ELD testing allows for a faster inspection of the roofing, waterproofing or coating compared to the traditional flood testing that per ASTM requires 48 hours minimum.
ELD testing can be used for troubleshooting existing roofing, waterproofing or coating membranes that are leaking to find the point of intrusion and allow for immediate repairs thereby reducing further damage from water.
Axis Leak Detection can provide testing of up to 40,000 square feet per day (based on the project details).
Axis Leak Detection has global response capabilities.
We work with architects, consultants, designers to ensure that quality control is written into every specification; we work with contractors to ensure that their completed projects are water tight; we work with manufacturers to provide a third party inspection giving them confidence in delivering their extended warranties; we work with building owners, their representatives, cities, municipalities and other organizations for quality control and assurance.
